Low-Carb Bacon Bark

Servings: 8 people

INGREDIENTS

Dough
    r

  • 8 oz mozzarella
  • r

  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • r

  • 2 Tbsp low-carb sweetener
  • r

  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • r

  • 2/3 cup almond flour
  • r

  • 1/3 cup coconut flour
  • r

  • 1 egg
  • r

Toppings
    r

  • 2/3 cup low-carb sweetener
  • r

  • 1/2 tsp maple extract
  • r

  • 1/2 tsp molasses
  • r

  • 8 bacon slices cooked, crispy, chopped
  • r

INSTRUCTIONS

    r

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. r

  3. Microwave the cheese in a bowl for one minute. Stir the cheese, then microwave it for 30 more seconds (or until cheese is fully melted).
  4. r

  5. Add the rest of the dough ingredients and melted cheese to a food processor.
  6. r

  7. Mix until it is a uniform color.
  8. r

  9. Press the dough out in a rectangle on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  10. r

  11. In a separate bowl, mix the low-carb sweetener, maple extract and molasses. Sprinkle half of it over the prepared dough, then top with chopped pieces of bacon.
  12. r

  13. Bake for about 25 minutes then cut into smaller squares for serving.
