Autumn Turkey Melt

INGREDIENTS

Pepper Aioli
    r

  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • r

  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • r

  • 1 Tbsp ground black pepper
  • r

  • 1 tsp salt
  • r

Slaw
    r

  • 15 thinly-sliced brussels sprouts
  • r

  • 1/2 thinly-sliced and cut green apple
  • r

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • r

  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • r

Sandwich
    r

  • 1 brioche bun
  • r

  • 3 oz slaw
  • r

  • 1 Tbsp pepper aioli
  • r

  • 4 oz leftover turkey
  • r

  • 1 can turkey broth
  • r

  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • r

INSTRUCTIONS

    r

  1. Place all of the pepper aoli ingredi- ents in a large bowl and whisk thor- oughly. Place aside in fridge.
  2. r

  3. Slice off the stem of the brussels sprouts, cut in half (then as thin as possible) and place in a bowl. Slice the green apple into thin slices and place it in the same bowl as the sprouts. Add salt and pepper. Add juice of half of a lime and toss.
  4. r

  5. Place slaw on the bottom bun. Spread aioli on the top bun.
  6. r

  7. Heat turkey broth on the stove. Place turkey in the broth for 30 seconds and remove.
  8. r

  9. Place the turkey on a metal pan. Place cheese on top of turkey and place under the broiler until the cheese melts.
  10. r

  11. Remove and place it on top of the slaw. Place the top bun and serve.
