On Friday, May 2, from 7 to 10 p.m., Kaleidoscope Park invites you to experience the first-ever Sneakers Under the Stars, a one-of-a-kind fundraising celebration where style meets heart in the most fun, unexpected way. Think high-fashion/cocktail chic…with a twist. That’s right – we’re talking high-style paired with your favorite statement sneakers (hello, comfort all night!).
This vibrant evening in the Park will bring the community together for a cause that matters. With every ticket purchased, guests support Kaleidoscope Park's ongoing mission: to deliver free, inclusive arts and culture programming to North Texas all year long.
What to Expect
👟 Sneaker Drive: Guests are encouraged to bring a pair of gently worn sneakers to be donated to Frisco Family Services!
🥂 Sips + Bites: Enjoy handcrafted signature cocktails and delicious bites under the stars.
🎨 Live Art Experiences: Watch local artists in action, participate in a live art auction curated by the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco, and don’t miss a chance to get a unique charcoal drawing from The Original Butt Sketch Artist (yes, really – and they’re so cool!).
💕 Creative Collabs: Team up with Chummy’s Customs to design one-of-a-kind sneakers to benefit children through Frisco Family Services.
🎶 Feel-Good Vibes: Dance the night away under Kaleidoscope Park’s breathtaking aerial artwork, Butterfly Rest Stop, with music curated by Melody of Hope’s DJ.
Local changemakers are stepping up to make this event truly special. Allie Spletter, Managing Editor of Frisco STYLE Magazine and a passionate advocate for the city, will serve as this year’s Honorary Chair. Her love for Frisco and belief in the Park’s mission is contagious.
“From viewing 3D models of Kaleidoscope Park back in 2023 to seeing all that it has become for Frisco today, I’m truly so excited to invite Frisco to celebrate under the stars as we come together for community, philanthropy, fashion, and fun,” Allie shares. “Grab those sneakers, and dress them up, y’all - it’ll be a party you won’t want to miss!”
“Frisco has grown so much, and Kaleidoscope Park is a beautiful reflection of that growth,” she explains. “Sneakers Under the Stars is the perfect way to celebrate all Frisco has built together – and all that’s still to come.”
Helping to make the magic happen behind the scenes is Cara Dudley, the Park’s Director of Development & Relationships, who’s leading the charge in bringing this event’s exciting vision to life. “This event is more than just a night out – it’s a chance to be part of something bigger,” Dudley shares.
“By supporting Sneakers Under the Stars, you're helping build a space where art, culture, and community thrive. This will be a really exciting event to connect with your peers, have a good time, and show off your best sneakers, but more than that, it's going to give back and help us to continuously offer great programs and events in the Park, Dudley shares. “Each ticket purchase continues to help fund free community programs each week, each month in the Park. We want to build community together, and we want you to be a part of that,” she adds.
