Beginning November 11thbr– January 1st, Gaylord Texan Resort will transform into anbrawe-inspiring winter wonderland with more than 2 million twinkling lights, abr54-foot-tall Christmas tree, 15,000 ornaments, miniature train sets, two 25-foot-tallbrtoy soldiers, and miles of garland. Christmas shows and activities arebrpresented in the resort’s four-and-a-half acres indoor gardens, while thebrconvention center transforms into Christmas Village, a bustling, holiday hamletbrwith village storefronts and festive activities!
Returning this season after a two-year hiatus is the resort’s signature attraction, ICE!. Using more than 2 million pounds – or 1,000 tons – of ice, the holiday classic movie, The Polar Express, will be brought to life by a team of 40 ice artisans who travel in from Harbin, China, and work for approximately six weeks to create the nearly 17,000-square-foot, frozen attraction. Inside of the ICE! attraction, kept at a wintry 9-degrees, guests will feel like they’ve been transported to The North Pole as they glide down two-story-tall ice slides, traverse through ice tunnels and arches, and visit the ‘On the Blocks’ ice bar (ages 21 and up). The ICE! experience concludes in a separate area dedicated to an awe-inspiring Nativity scene, meticulously carved, and shaped in a dramatic display of crystal-clear ice.

Calling all thrill-seekers! Guests can grab a tube and zoom down the two-story, eight-lane hill, covered in real snow.

With a bucket of real snowballs, guests can take aim at interactive targets created by Santa’s Elves.
Ice Skating
Families and friends can take a ‘yuletide glide’ on the 6,000-square-foot ice skating rink made with real ice.

Santa’s top toymakers share the secrets of becoming one of St. Nick’s helpers as they create a special keepsake gift or craft to take home for someone special.
Gingerbread Decorating Corner
Christmas creativity runs wild as guests adorn gingerbread treats. After they’ve reached confection perfection with their edible art, they can enjoy a sweet meet-and-greet and photograph with Nutmeg the Gingerbread Man.
Photos with Santa
Guests can chat with the jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus, to make sure they’ve secured a spot on his prestigious Nice List. Santa will meet guests from November 11th – December 24th before he heads back to the North Pole for his gift-giving journey.
Holiday Escape Rooms
