Deceptively Delicious Avocado Brownies

INGREDIENTS

    r

  • 2 medium-ripe avocados (skin and pit removed)
  • r

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • r

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • r

  • 2 Large Eggs
  • r

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • r

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • r

  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • r

  • 1 tsp salt
  • r

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • r

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • r

  • 2 Tbsp cooled coffee
  • r

INSTRUCTIONS

    r

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. r

  3. With a mixer, mix the avocado, maple syrup, eggs, vanilla, coffee and sugar until the ingredients are blended together.
  4. r

  5. Slowly mix in the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend only enough to combine the ingredients, but do not over mix.
  6. r

  7. Add the chocolate chips to the batter.
  8. r

  9. Spread the batter evenly in a 9x13 greased pan.
  10. r

  11. Bake the mixture for about 25-30 minutes. Stick a toothpick in middle. If it comes out clean, the brownies are ready.
  12. r

  13. Allow the brownies to cool before you cut and serve them as a healthy alternative to dessert!
