Halloween Monster Cookies

Servings: 12 large cookies

INGREDIENTS

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients
    r

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • r

  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • r

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • r

  • 1 tsp salt
  • r

  • 2 sticks butter
  • r

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • r

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • r

  • 3 eggs
  • r

Icing Ingredients
    r

  • 1 bag powdered sugar
  • r

  • 1-2 tsp vanilla extract
  • r

  • 4-8 Tbsp milk
  • r

  • 2 Tbsp shortening
  • r

  • 1 stick butter
  • r

INSTRUCTIONS

For Cookies
    r

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
  2. r

  3. Beat the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in another large bowl.
  4. r

  5. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg is added.
  6. r

  7. Melt two cups of the chocolate chips and beat into the mixture.
  8. r

  9. Beat the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Stir in the remaining chocolate chips.
  10. r

  11. Form cookies on baking sheet and cook for 8-10 minutes.
  12. r

For Icing
    r

  1. Soften the butter then mix in all your ingredients (except the milk).
  2. r

  3. After combining ingredients, add the milk, tablespoon by tablespoon, stirring in between each, to make sure your consistency is right.
  4. r

  5. Add your desired food coloring and mix it in!
  6. r
