Suzanne Jensen is the president of the women’s ministry in Frisco for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her family have called Frisco home for the past seven years. “We feel like Frisco offers a wonderful community to raise a family. I have seen firsthand how neighbors pull together to help each other when needs arise,” she shares.
Over the past 30 years, Ms. Jensen has served in many capacities in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including children’s and youth ministries, but for the past three and a half years, she has served in the women’s ministry, also known as the “Relief Society.” The purpose of this organization is to help women increase their faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, strengthen individuals and families and to work in unity to help those in need. “We have worked together to meet many needs in our community, such as supporting the Meals on Wheels Harvest Box Drive, partnering with the American Red Cross, providing a venue for local blood drives and traveling to the Houston area to help with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts,” she says. r
Ms. Jensen loves Frisco and is grateful to live here!
