Mother's Day Upside Down French Toast

Instructions
  1. Add the brown sugar to your baking dish. Melt the butter and add it to the brown sugar. Mix ingredients together and distribute evenly on the bottom of the baking dish.
  2. Cut thick slices of bread and lay them flat on the sugar and butter mixture. Fill in empty spaces with smaller pieces of bread (do not layer the bread).
  3. In a blender or by hand, mix the eggs and milk and pour the mixture over the bread. Cover the dish and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator.
  4. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
