The Frisco ISD athletic director, David Kuykendall, or “Coach K,” as he is known around the FISD, has led and served coaches and student athletes for 25 years. During his time as the athletic director, Mr. Kuykendall has grown and developed a culture of leadership, respect, integrity and pride as the district has prospered.
Mr. Kuykendall, who is extremely proud of the district’s athletic success, shares, “Frisco is blessed to have quality coaches who serve as role models for athletes, emphasizing integrity, sportsmanship and class, while paying attention to the little things, all of which have paid dividends both on and off the field. I am most proud of the expectations the district has for all who are involved in the athletic programs and the determination to uphold those standards.”
