Clark Hornbaker is a part owner of Eden Hill Vineyard and Winery, a commercial vineyard and winery located just north of Celina. He is a retired CPA living out his passion for working with nature and making fine wines.
“My job is very unique. Not many people are able to walk in vineyards, taste new wine aging in barrels or meet so many wonderful people. It is exciting for the community to be near a working commercial vineyard and winery, as we provide jobs and enjoyment to many. Our work is also very sustainable and environmentally friendly,” he shares.
Over the past few years, Mr. Hornbaker has served on various committees involving the Celina Balloon Festival, the Farmers Market and the local Chamber of Commerce. He has also been a member of Rotary International.
“My days fill with activities ranging from caring for our vineyards, greeting winery patrons, selling wine, handling financial matters, performing winery ‘cellar rat’ duties and caring for aging wine to talking with our other vineyard owners and winery managers,” he says.
