Bill Woodard, a Frisco resident for 11 years, serves in several leadership roles with the city and in various volunteer organizations. As noted in our Best of Frisco feature, included in the May issue of Frisco STYLE Magazine, Mr. Woodard is the trail steward for the Northwest Community DORBA Mountain Trail. He is responsible for representing DORBA with the City of Frisco Parks and Recreation department and takes care of the overall maintenance of the trail, including organizing volunteers who help assist with the park’s maintenance.
“I am very passionate about our parks systems and our open spaces. The park property where the trail is located has some of the best scenery in Frisco,” he shares. The DORBA Trail provides Frisco residents with a unique place to enjoy nature, exercise and socialize with friends! It also gives volunteers the opportunity to give back to the community.
