Jim Gandy is the president of the Frisco Economic Development Corporation (FEDC). He moved to Frisco in 1995 to begin working as the corporation’s executive director in 1996. In his role as FEDC president, he oversees and manages the day-to-day business affairs of implementing effective and efficient economic development programs to enhance the quality of life and job opportunities for Frisco residents.
Mr. Gandy has been involved in the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, the Frisco Education Foundation and the Frisco FFA Buyers Club. Earlier this year, the Chamber of Commerce honored him as the 2015 Citizen of the Year. Mr. Gandy takes great pride in working with public and private partners to help facilitate major developments in Frisco.
