Co-workers Gillian Morrison and Tammy Lavender created an awesome, huge gingerbread house for Frisco STYLE’s 2016 Gingerbread House Contest. They said their creation was inspired by the amazing salad bars in Frisco ISD school cafes. “We wanted to showcase the salad bars in our school cafes and thought it would be fun to do so with gingerbread and marzipan. Plus, we got to eat some gingerbread rejects!” they said.
Ms. Morrison is a culinary trainer in the FISD nutrition department and Ms. Lavender is the program operations manager in the FISD nutrition department. Both women have been reading Frisco STYLE Magazine for years and enjoy reading about local businesses and restaurants!
