Amy Deatherage

Amy Deatherage, a Frisco resident since 2003, is the current president of the Frisco Garden Club. She also recently returned to her career as a flight attendant. Ms. Deatherage has achieved certification as a master gardener and licensed landscape irrigator, is a Leadership Frisco alumni and she served two terms on the City of Frisco’s Urban Forestry Board.

The Frisco Garden Club is Frisco’s longest active organization. Since 1932, the club’s purpose is to promote an interest in gardens and design and management, to cooperate in the protection of wild birds, wildflowers and native plants and to encourage civic plantings. “Members are tasked with the beautification of Frisco, and we serve as good stewards to many city and club projects,” she shares.
