Robi Heath is a licensed professional counselor and registered play therapist supervisor at Kid Talk Counseling in Frisco. She shared her knowledge regarding mental health in our January feature.
Mrs. Heath is an active member of North Texas Play Therapy Chapter and EMDRIA, an organization for a type of therapy called “EMDR” that treats trauma. She is also a proud member of CrossFit Lowe in Frisco.
Her favorite thing about Frisco is the small town feel that remains with the presence of big city amenities. Also, she appreciates the history of Frisco as a railroad stop. “We were actually married at the Frisco Depot, so Frisco holds a lot of sentimental memories for us,” she shares. “Frisco is a growing city that values quality. I want Kid Talk to be the best it can be and align with the same values as our city. I love the value Frisco places on families and kids.”
Mrs. Heath adds, “If we can help kids learn more about emotions and ways to express feelings and needs in healthy ways, they will have successful experiences as they grow up. I love walking beside our families that come to Kid Talk as they grow and become stronger.”
