Frisco Restaurateurs Create Family Ties Across Frisco and a Twist on the Traditional Thanksgiving Meal
Growing up in Illinois, brothers Adam and Bennie Ademi were practically raised in the kitchen. Their parents, successful restaurateurs, built a legacy of hospitality that was more than just a business—it was a way of life. “We spent our childhood surrounded by the hustle and bustle of restaurants, learning firsthand the art of cooking, the joy of serving others, and the importance of creating an experience that makes people feel at home. From prepping ingredients to greeting guests, we absorbed every lesson, and it became clear early on that we were destined to continue in the family tradition,” Bennie recalls.
Fast forward to a few years ago, their sister Kiki made a bold move to Texas with her husband, Benny. They opened Salute, a beautiful and wildly popular Italian restaurant here in Frisco, where they quickly became a part of the local dining scene. “Kiki would call us all the time, raving about the community, the lifestyle, and the untapped potential in Frisco. She kept telling us, ‘You guys have to come down here! The people are amazing, and there’s so much opportunity,’” Bennie shares.
After a few visits to see her, it wasn’t long before the idea of opening their own place in Texas started to take shape. They admittedly loved the vibrant, family-oriented feel of Frisco, and as food lovers and restaurateurs themselves, they knew it was the perfect place to start the next chapter of their journey. And thus, Egg Posh was born.
Bennie explains, “Egg Posh isn’t just another brunch spot – it’s a reflection of who we are. We’ve taken all the lessons from our childhood, our father’s restaurants, and our experiences in the kitchen to create a place that blends tradition with creativity. We wanted to offer something special…something that stood out in the crowded brunch scene. That’s why we’ve crafted a menu that’s both innovative and rooted in quality. Take our Lobster Omelet, for example – it’s a rich, indulgent dish that brings a bit of luxury to your everyday brunch. Or our Banana Split French Toast, a fun twist on a classic that’s as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to eat. And, of course, our fresh, fluffy Beignets are the perfect way to start your meal.”
In addition to incredible and wonderfully aesthetic food, Bennie admits that what really sets them apart isn’t just the food but the atmosphere. “We’ve made it our mission to create a space that feels like home, where every guest is treated like family. We’re not just feeding people; we’re building relationships, fostering community, and creating memories. Our staff is an extension of our family, and their warmth and passion for hospitality are felt the moment you walk through the door. Whether you’re here for a celebratory brunch, a casual family meal, or just popping in for a quick bite after a busy day, we want you to leave feeling cared for, like you’ve just had a meal with friends.”
He continues, “And our love for the hospitality business doesn’t stop at Egg Posh. My sister Kiki and her husband Benny have truly built something special with Salute Italian Restaurant. Located right off 423 and Lebanon, it’s a place where you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy, family-friendly setting. The same family values we cherish at Egg Posh carry over to Salute, where every guest is welcomed like an old friend, and every dish is prepared with care.”
Bennie adds that working together as a family is at the heart of everything they do and being able to share this journey with his brother, sister, and their extended family of staff is incredibly rewarding. “There’s a deep sense of pride in knowing that we’re continuing the legacy our father started, each of us adding our own flavor to it along the way,” Bennie says.
As much as the Ademi brothers love what they do year-round, there’s one holiday that really captures the spirit of what they’re all about – Thanksgiving. “For us, it’s a time when families come together, not just for the food, but for the connection. Thanksgiving reminds us of the power of a shared meal—the laughter, the stories, the memories made around the table. It’s this sense of togetherness that inspires us in the restaurant,” he says. “Every day, we aim to recreate that feeling of warmth, gratitude, and belonging for our guests. Whether it’s a holiday dinner at home or a Sunday brunch at Egg Posh, we believe in the magic that happens when people come together over great food.”
Egg Posh currently has fall-inspired dishes and drinks on the menu as we usher in this special time of year – all of which have received glowing reviews from customers thus far. Some fall favorites include the cookie butter latte, pumpkin spice latte, apple cider mimosa, hibiscus waffle, and pumpkin pancakes.
