Meet the Team
Chris Johnson – Publisher
Since March, 2003, Chris has been the owner of Style Publishing Group and publisher of Frisco STYLE Magazine. He currently serves on the boards of the Heritage Association of Frisco, the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Rotary Club of Frisco. He is also a member of the Executive Council of the Military History Center at the University of North Texas.
Past areas of service include Chairman of the Board of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, founding Board Member of Legacy Christian Academy and a board member of both the Frisco Association for the Arts and the Frisco Convention and Visitors Bureau. He has also served as Executive Director of LifeTalk Resource Center, a local crisis pregnancy center.
Prior professional positions include chief operating officer of Wiredinn.com, an Internet technology/hospitality company; sr. vice president of product marketing & development for TIV Operations Group, an international hospitality-consulting firm; and, director of retail finance for Bank of America. Before this, he had a nine-year tenure with a Sprint, holding several positions within its business and consumer marketing organizations.
Lauren Greci – Editor
Lauren Greci graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2008 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with an English, Reading and Language Arts Certification. She was an elementary school teacher for a few years before becoming a stay-at-home mom in 2013. She is also a lifestyle blogger and currently homeschooling her two sons.
Lauren loves Jesus and listening to Christian podcasts on her early morning walks. She also enjoys spending weekends on the lake with her husband and kids and likes to cook and bake healthy, organic meals for her family. She is a nature enthusiast and loves going on hikes and bike rides on the local trails with her family.
Jennifer Miner – Art Director
Born and raised in Indiana, Jennifer graduated from Indiana University’s Media School in 2020 with a concentration in media advertising and specialization in graphic design. Upon graduation Jennifer eagerly packed up and moved to Frisco to begin her career with Frisco STYLE. As an avid hockey fan Jennifer is excitedly embracing her new home team and cheering loudly for the Dallas Stars.
Previously Jennifer has worked with the National Park Service creating promotional photography / videography for Gulf Island National Seashore’s social media presence. Her passions include live music, photography, art museums, fitness, and all things nature.
George Rodriguez – Director of Sales
George joined the Style Publishing Group team in 2011 bringing a strong background in business development and sales management within advertising, public relations and financial sectors. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1992 with a degree in Economics and Finance. He is currently an active member of the SMU alumni association. PONY UP!
George excels in business development and sales management by building profitable and mutually beneficial relationships with commercial accounts and community-based organizations. As such, he is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships/alliances with Style Publishing Group’s commercial account base. His specialties are sales management/business development, operations management, marketing, project management and business planning and strategy.
George’s hobbies include sports, morning Starbucks, traveling and spending time with his wife, Heather.
Laura Hamby – Account Manager
Laura Hamby Is excited to bring new clients to Frisco Style as an Account Manager. She has a degree in communications and journalism from Western Michigan University.
Laura sold advertising in the Detroit market for 10 years then ventured into the health and fitness industry.
While enjoying the perks of helping others be their best, she fell in love, married, moved to Frisco and started a family. Now that her Children Oliver 19 and Ella 17 are fairly self-sufficient, Laura decided she could go back to work again.
She makes time for early morning workouts and meditation & is a lunch time yogi. On the weekends, Laura spends what some would say, too many hours in the kitchen preparing clean green and organic food that her husband Jay and Ella enjoy. She also concocts alternative desserts. Fortunately for her, no one touches her treats!
Andrew Johnson – Client Services Manager
Andrew has been working for Style Publishing Group since early 2011 as the Manager of Client Services. His responsibilities include maintaining accurate advertisement placement in each issue of Frisco STYLE Magazine. He also fosters relationships with clients to ensure their marketing and advertisement design expectations are being met.
Andrew is passionate about all things aquatic and when not in the office, you can find him by the lake bass fishing. He also enjoys relaxing at home with his wife Lindsay and their dog, Chloe. Born in Olathe, Kansas, he is a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan and hopes for a 2nd Super Bowl win!
Ben Johnson – Digital Media Manager
Ben is responsible for the majority of Style Publishing Group’s online presence. Whether it’s posting recent events on Facebook, browsing the “twittersphere” or maintaining the websites, he’s constantly online. Ben has been with Style Publishing since fall 2012.
In his free time, Ben can usually be found researching cars, playing video games or fishing for his next biggest bass ever.
Lindsay Johnson – Administrative Director
Lindsay joined the Style Publishing Group team in January 2019. She brings with her 12 years of administrative and retail sales management experience. She supports the sales and office staff with procedural and administrative tasks that help keep things running smoothly and effectively.
Lindsay lives in Aubrey, TX with her husband Andrew and their 10-pound fur baby, Chloe. She is an avid reader and loves the smell of old books. She also enjoys drawing, painting, watching true crime documentaries and listening to music.
Becky Johnson – Office Manager
Becky has been our office/financial manager since 2005. Her role is to keep the office well “oiled” and moving smoothly. She enjoys meeting new businesses in Frisco and watching them flourish in this great city, as well as keeping up relationships with current clients. Seeing businesses succeed is “icing on the cake” for her job. She also enjoys planning/helping with company events.
Becky earned her bachelor’s degree in Home Economics in 1983 and was a stay-at-home mom until 2001. She enjoys ALL things domestic (cooking, sewing, cleaning, crafts, gardening, etc.). She is the mother for four children, ranging from 28 to 20. She and her husband, Chris, recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. In addition, both company “security” dogs, Dixie and Pippa, live with Chris and Becky.
