Tammy Meinershagen, the current president of the Frisco Association for the Arts, is a pianist, violinist and teacher. She plays the electric violin with the Texas String Quartet, serves as Inclusivity Chair for the Frisco Council of PTAs, is an appointee to the Frisco Public Art Board and is a member of Stonebriar Community Church, where she plays violin in the orchestra. Mrs. Meinershagen served on the 2015 Citizen Bond Committee, served as the PR/marketing chair of the Texas Music Teachers Association, was Inclusivity Chair at Bledsoe Elementary, contributed as an arts blogger with the Frisco Insiders Network and served as the host of Classical Open Mic Frisco. Mrs. Meinershagen spearheaded Proposition 8, a $10 million bond initiative for a performing arts center in Frisco.
